Theres a little poem by Frida Wolf where the middle reads ''Bright shoes, white shoes, Dandy-dance-by-night shoes'' and if you've ever seen Cazals live you'll know just what she means. You can't get much whiter than these, Phil must have to wrap them in cotton wool to wear them on the tube. A triumph in cleanliness, especially as this photo was taken in a packed club about 5 hours after they played their set on the other side of the city. A club where I usually spill my whiskey over my feet and come home far less tidy looking than Phil does here.
