Now I wonder if you flip this photo and look at it back to front Louie's shoes read out some kind of evil devil message. Maybe I'll get a barrage of right wing evangelists comdemning my site and blaming it for the downfall of today's youth and whatnot. I can see the headlines now 'Popstar Feets: the reason behind record teen pregnancy levels'; 'Rise in gun crime and drugs due to celebrity shoes'; 'All GCSE students fail due to obssession with Converse trainers'. God knows Kate Moss turned to coke because Pete never made it onto Popstar Feets and Carl did. Hurrah! Another Top Of The Pops worthy popstar! A damn sexy one too. Even before I could complain about the Converses Ben from Rooster apologised to me for them. They're cord, which he reckoned made them slightly less scummy. Maybe he's a true high class boy usually. I have an image of him in my head sitting around his luxury flat in nothing but silk robes, with velvet slippers and a white fluffy cat on his lap. Mmmm...yum yum. Sorry for the photo quality, but hey, it's not every day that you run into one of Rooster. Oh, this is just lovely. Two fingers up to scummy indie boys. I can't think of anything better than shiny shoes and polka dots. Being in a band doesn't have to mean wearing vomit covered brogues that you taped together because although you have the money to buy new ones, you think they wouldn't look the same without the gaffa. There is style and class to be had, lets aim to smarten things up a little. Look how well The Pipettes do it. The seasons are changing and now is the perfect time to update your wardrobe. I think I may have to get my whip out for this one. I bore you all silly with my 'no Converse rule'. Most of the time I'm probably just being a whinger, the majority of the time one pair of Converses can be acceptable in a band. But my oh my, what on earth is going on here? I used to have much respect for Bis in my younger days, and then they formed Data Panik, got some more members and lost their brains clearly. Matching box fresh Converses? You put your left leg in, left leg out, in, out, in out, shake it all about... I never liked that dance much, the bit when you all run into the centre was a tad too dangerous for my liking. Part Two of The Departure, and yes I know, I'm missing a band member here. But I imagine he has shit shoes anyway. I do like Lee's shoes on the left. They look like the kind of thing my old computing teacher would wear whilst he told us the merits of dos and databases, and how clip art could make your essays look really professional. You should never do things by halves my mother used to say to me. Well, how wrong was she? Half of The Departure today, another half tomorrow. How can you possibly gaze at the detail of the footwear if I'm trying to fit 8 shoes in one 420x315 pixel space? Its just impossible. I understand the need of you feet fetishers, I'm here for you. The first half is Ben and David. If I'd have done all four in one go you would never have noticed that David is wearing all leather Converses. And what a sad world it would be if we didn't know that.
