Grant from Feeder

October 31, 2005

This is a man I used to be seriously obsessed with and could possibly admit that I cried when I met him when I was 15. Please bear in mind that McFly didn't exist back then and there wasn't much to vent my boy lusting through. Apparently Grant's pink converses have become somewhat of a legend, with girls at their gigs turning up in pink converses. I was never that nerdy. Just emotional. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs/grantfeeder_shoes_thumb.jpg

MIA

October 25, 2005

At all the key strop walking moments in my life I have been wearing inappropriate shoes. It is very very difficult to pull off a convinvcing ''well, fuck you, I'm leaving'' routine if you can't actually walk in your shoes. MIA famously walked out of the Mercurys when that warbling man won the award. I'm guessing she wasn't wearing these shoes. Otherwise all the papers would have documented her shocking fall on the red carpet, rather than her strong willed ways. Maybe she's just more coordinated than me. Its a big possibility. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs/mia_shoes_thumb.jpg

Kasabian

October 21, 2005

Theres a current trend sweeping the music scene where bands write songs about shoes or even name their bands after shoes simply to get on here. Its a bit pathetic but you can't blame them. Alaye's done it with 'Mind My Creps', a bit of a sneaky attempt using some slang there. Good Shoes have all the cunning of a toddler wanting chocolate. And just look at Kasabian. OK, so Club Foot came out before Popstar Feets shone light onto the world, but so strong is their marketing genius that they pre-empted our power and influence and capitalised on it straight away. Those sly dogs. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs/kasabian_shoes_thumb.jpg

Jeremy Warmsley

October 14, 2005

Oh dear. These are not pretty shoes. Just look at the laces, all the ends are frayed, and I really hope they didn't start out white. If they did then I am truly appalled. Jeremy Warmsley says he only owns four pairs of shoes. I reckon he spends all his money on moisturiser. If only I ran Popstar Cheeks, his are seriously beautiful. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs/j_wo_shoes_thumb.jpg

Lovebites

October 09, 2005

If I was in the best all girl pop punk girl in the country I would not be wearing these shoes. If you can't jump about in five inch stilettos then frankly, you do not deserve to have boobs and hold a guitar. The years of Justine Frischmann skulking about in DMs are over. Its all about the glam nowadays. Buy the highest heeled shoes you can find, spend two weeks only wearing them indoors and you'll never look back. Lovebites are only young (and frankly amazing) so I'll let them off this once. But I want to see a marked improvement by the time they release their second single. And, oh my god, I nearly forgot. We have a Lovebites competition for you. Its amazing. Click that big picture on the right. You can't miss it. Unless you're looking at the ground intently whilst trying to walk in your new glam bitch shoes, in which case, remember that bleeding feet are just par for the course. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs/lovebites_shoes_thumb.jpg

Gary Powell (ex-Libertines)

October 03, 2005

Its the solution to the ultimate indie boy dilemma. God knows they all think about the clothes they wear more than the music they listen to. Its a tricky morning when the boys just can't decide between the predictable classic and scruffy Converses, or the equally predictable faux rebellion in the form of smart brogues. Trust me, I know a boy who only owns two pairs of shoes, one pair of gaffa-ed up Converses and one pair of carefully polished brogues. These two extremes seem to be their only shoe options. My Gary Libertine has solved it all. Converse-like brogues. They're trainers, but they have good toes. Its genius. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs/libs_shoes_thumb.jpg
