Kid Solo from Veto Silver
February 22, 2006
I've been disappointed with the last few shoes I've seen, I was beginning to become a little disheartened with the world, thinking that everybody had just given up and put on any old shoes they found under their bed. I was about to leave Popstar Feets and become a pastry chef. Two things put me off the career change. Firstly, I have very warm hands that would destroy pastry. Secondly, Veto Silver's Kid Solo has more taste than choux pastry. These are good shoes, they're scuffed but they're still sharp all the same. I may have said it before, but white shoes are the way to go. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs//vetosilver_shoes_thumb.jpgPosted by Helen at 11:06 AM
Graham Coxon

Standing on his own again quite literally. It's just as well really, its difficult being in a band, your footwear could always be shown up by the more stylish members of the band. Inevitably the bassist. A solo star can get away with slightly dodgy footwear, I imagine thats why Graham Coxon decided to brave the solo route. Having good looking feet is the number one priority as a musician. http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs//coxon_shoes_thumb.jpgPosted by Helen at 01:37 PM
The Hoosiers
February 02, 2006
The headlines today: plimsoles are the new indie cliche. Purchasable in your local Woolworths for less than £5, they go under your skinny jeans well, flaunt androgyny and aren't Converses. Everyone loves them, but they're all forgetting one thing: they are as boring as fuck. The Hoosiers should know better. They dress up well on stage, matching outfits and everything. Why can't they carry this kind of creativity into their off air life? Is it that difficult? http://www.popstarfeets.co.uk/images/thumbs//hoosier_shoes_thumb.jpgPosted by Helen at 02:15 PM
