Ah, Reeboks, Jamie T is just such a geezer. I was worried he'd be wearing a pair of pointed toe brogues and the whole 'indie man from the streets' front was a lie. Reebok Classics can be worn by anyone of course, but it takes a special kind of skill to be able to pull them off. You must rock the shoulder swagger walk. Think Bez, think monkey, think of anything other than the catwalk glide. If you walk without any kind of swing whilst wearing the Classics you will look like a knob. Today is a fantastic day. I slept for 13 hours last night and have woken up with this brilliant photo. I couldn't be any happier. It would be possible to live with only these two pairs of shoes as part of your wardrobe and be blissfully content. Now, I know I usually slate Converses, and waxing lyrical about this particular pair is somewhat hypocritical, but I think its all about how you wear them. Levelload have got it right, you've got to work the Converses into your outfit. Don't just throw them on, expecting them to coordinate with your look. If you've got a brown jumper on don't wear red Converses. Wear brown ones. It's not rocket science. Levelload only wear yellow and black, making it very easy to nail the accessorising tip. But even if you own many different coloured tops, it's not difficult. So many shoes! I think the Les Inc boys decided an order to this circle, it seems that everybody with good shoes stood next to each other and everyone with terrible shoes ganged up on the opposite side. Maybe its a wrestling ring of death, like those sumo ones when the first person to step outside the circle loses. Pretty shoes vs horrid shoes in a bloody battle til the end. Fleeing New York

Now I try to be positive most of the time, but recently I find myself being more and more derogatory towards people's footwear. It's a terrible habit. Maybe my standards are becoming too high. But when Fleeing New York's press release uses phrases such as 'fairytale temptress', 'glacially chic', 'androgynous post punk' and 'sexually charged vocals', my expectations are bound to be high.
